Updated October 2026. A good duffle is the bag that covers everything a suitcase cannot: the overnight train, the gym after work, the back seat of a car on a long weekend. We put this list together because the category has become the fastest-growing part of the Voyanti range this year, with customers increasingly pairing one duffle with one cabin case rather than buying a second suitcase. The other change is colour: black and camel have overtaken the classic monogram print for the first time.
Ranking was straightforward. We took the duffles with the strongest sales over the last 90 days, removed anything with a return rate above our range average, and then ordered the remainder by how many different jobs each bag can do, from carry-on to weekend bag to gym holdall. Everything on the list is priced below retail and made to the same specification as the boutique version, with free worldwide tracked shipping and 30-day returns.
1. Textured Calfskin Large Duffle with Stripe Web, Camel and Ebony
Big enough for a long weekend and handsome enough to carry into a hotel lobby, this large calfskin duffle is the premium option on the list. The textured leather resists scratches better than smooth hide, and the two-tone camel and ebony pairing works with both tan and black shoes. At this size it will not fit under an aircraft seat, so plan to place it in the overhead locker or check it.

2. Large Printed Canvas Travel Duffle, Tan
Lighter than the leather options by a wide margin, the canvas duffle is the one to choose if you carry it rather than wheel it. The tan print has a soft, almost vintage look that improves with use, and the leather trim takes the strain at the handles. Capacity suits three to four nights. Canvas marks more readily than coated materials, so a quick brush after a trip keeps it looking sharp.

3. Monogram Canvas Weekend Duffle
Every range needs a reliable entry point, and this is ours. Coated monogram canvas with a detachable shoulder strap, sized to fit a standard cabin allowance when not overfilled, and the most affordable duffle we stock. It is the bag our customers most often buy as a first purchase and then come back for in another finish. The leather trim is untreated and will darken with handling, which most owners welcome.

4. Black Leather Duffle with Patterned Strap, Gold-Tone Hardware
Those who find the all-over print too loud will prefer this black version, which keeps the pattern to the shoulder strap. Smooth black leather with gold-tone hardware looks equally right at the gym and the airport, and the dark body hides the marks that pale canvas shows. Leather adds weight, so this is a bag to carry across the body on the strap rather than by hand for any distance.

5. Monogram Canvas Duffle, Updated Edition
Sold as the updated edition, this version carries the current hardware finish and is the one to buy if you want the latest look. The zip runs the full length of the top, which makes packing flat items simple, and the shoulder strap adjusts to sit at the hip. Our customers report it fits a 55 cm cabin sizer at most carriers when packed sensibly.

6. Multicolour Monogram Canvas Duffle, Silver-Tone Hardware
Colour is the point here. The multicolour print on a pale ground, finished with silver-tone hardware, is the most distinctive bag in the collection and the one that draws comments. It suits summer travel and anyone who wants their luggage to be part of the outfit. Pale canvas does show dirt; treat it with care in the hold and wipe spills immediately.

7. Monogram Canvas Duffle, Gold-Tone Hardware
If you want the classic combination of monogram canvas and gold-tone fittings at the lowest price in the range, this is the one. The structure matches the updated edition but with the earlier hardware shape, and plenty of customers prefer it for exactly that reason. Capacity is a comfortable two to three nights. It stands upright when packed, which the softer canvas duffles do not always manage.

8. Triangular Calfskin Duffle, Black, Silver-Tone Hardware
Architects and designers buy this one. The triangular profile is unusual, it holds its shape empty, and the smooth black calfskin with silver hardware reads as a serious object rather than a sports bag. It is better suited to city breaks and overnight work travel than to the gym, as the shape is less forgiving of bulky trainers. Carry it by the top handles for the cleanest look.

How we chose
We pulled sales data for every duffle sold between July and September 2026 and ranked by volume first. Return rates were the second filter; a duffle that comes back is nearly always a size misjudgement, so we have been explicit about capacity in each entry. The last pass was versatility, favouring bags that work as cabin luggage, a weekend bag and a daily holdall rather than excelling at just one. All prices are in AUD and sit below the boutique retail price.
Choosing the right duffle size
Measure the trips you actually take. A bag around 45 to 50 cm long covers one to two nights and will pass as cabin luggage on most airlines if you do not overfill it; anything above 55 cm is a checked-bag or car-boot proposition. Leather duffles are heavier but hold their shape and age well; canvas is lighter and easier to push into a locker. Look for a shoulder strap you can adjust to hip height, a zip that opens the full length of the bag, and feet or a base panel that keeps the bag off the floor. If you intend to use it for the gym as well as travel, choose a darker finish that will not show marks.
