Voyanti's suitcase collection is where most customers begin. It covers polished hardside cases in aluminium and polycarbonate, softside cases in coated canvas with leather trim, and check-in sizes from a 65 cm medium to a 78 cm large. Each case is made to the same specification as the boutique version, with the same shells, wheels, leathers and hardware, assembled by the same craftspeople, and priced below retail.

Hardside or softside

A hardside case protects fragile contents and wipes clean, and the aluminium versions develop an honest patina with use. A softside case is lighter, forgives overpacking and usually has an outer pocket for documents. If you check luggage often, choose hardside; if you carry a lot of soft clothing and want the lowest weight, choose softside.

Sizing for the trip

A medium case of around 65 cm holds a week of clothing for one person. A large case of 75 cm or more suits two weeks or a family trip, but check the airline's weight limit, as a full large case can exceed 23 kg. Four double wheels make a case easier to steer through terminals than two inline wheels.

Care and delivery

Wipe shells after every trip and store cases empty with the zips or latches closed.
